Abstract
In recent years there has been a growing demand for electronically con trolled suspensions in rail vehicles. Active car body tilting as well as active or semi-active suspension control have been implemented succ essfully by industry. This paper describes the development of a suspen sion control technology which integrates active tilting, active latera l positioning and semi-active damping of a rail vehicle's car body. Th e focus is on computer simulation as well as on hardware development.
