A. Stribersky et al., THE DEVELOPMENT OF AN INTEGRATED SUSPENSION CONTROL TECHNOLOGY FOR PASSENGER TRAINS, Proceedings of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers. Part F, Journal of rail and rapid transit, 212(1), 1998, pp. 33-42
In recent years there has been a growing demand for electronically con
trolled suspensions in rail vehicles. Active car body tilting as well
as active or semi-active suspension control have been implemented succ
essfully by industry. This paper describes the development of a suspen
sion control technology which integrates active tilting, active latera
l positioning and semi-active damping of a rail vehicle's car body. Th
e focus is on computer simulation as well as on hardware development.
