Abstract
This article reviews the intraoperative and postoperative complication of dental procedures that involve the removal of maxillary and mandib ular teeth. Complications arising from other dental procedures are als o reviewed. Emphasis is placed on intraoperative technique and postope rative care to help prevent, identify, and treat complications of dent al surgery.
