Abstract
The success of bypass grafting to arteries of the lower leg depends on the accurate identification of suitable distal vessels. MRA is a new, noninvasive vascular imaging technique, which may now be added to ima ging options with the potential for improved sensitivity in finding pa tent runoff vessels and avoidance of morbidity at equivalent cost to t hat of conventional contrast angiography.
