DOUBLE COVERS OF SOME FANO MANIFOLDS AS HYPERPLANE SECTIONS

Let Y be a Fano manifold of dimension n greater than or equal to 3 wit h b(2)(Y) = 1 and index n - 1 and let A be a projective manifold which is a double cover of Y. We determine which complex projective manifol ds can admit A among their hyperplane sections.
