Abstract
The aim of this study is to understand the meaning of the adhesion mec hanical tests applied to several material couples such as metals, cera mics or polymers. At first, the interface fracture mechanics has been studied. Then the suitable measurement methods have been determined. T he composites used have been realized in our laboratories. There are p rincipally the nickel - copper couples obtained by two techniques and the aluminium - polymer couples for several polymer mixings. The test methods are, in addition to the four-point bending test, the double ca ntilever beam test and the peeling test.
