The theory of transfer of ternary-electrolyte ions through the Nernst
diffusion layer is elaborated with allowance made for the space charge
that emerges at currents exceeding the exaltation current. The influe
nce exerted by the space charge on the concurrent transfer of ions and
on the main characteristics of the system is analyzed.
