Abstract
Reactions of phosphoramidites based on (-)-ephedrine and [(1S)-endo]-( -)-borneol with the complexes M(COD)Cl-2 (M is Pd or Pt, and COD is cy cloocta-1,5-diene) were studied. The formation of cis and trans comple xes of the general formulas MCl2L2 and M2Cl2(mu-Cl)(2)-L-2 was observe d. The structures of the resulting compounds were established by P-31, C-13, and Pt-195 NMR and IR spectroscopy and by plasma desorption mas s spectrometry.
