Abstract
The hepatic CYP1A1 (ethoxyresorufin-O-deethylase (EROD) and protein le vel) in rainbow trout and eelpout was induced by isosafrole, beta-naph thoflavone, 3,3',4,4'-tetrachlorobiphenyl and mixtures of two of the c ompounds. A potentiation effect of the CYP1A1 response was observed wh en isosafrole was given together with beta-naphthoflavone, but not whe n isosafrole was given with 3,3',4,4'-tetrachlorobiphenyl.
