Twelve iron(II) complexes of the ''acyliron'' type [(eta(5-)C(5)H(5))(
Co)(PPh3)Fe(X), X = COR, Br, I] have been synthesized and their resolu
tion into enantiomers by HPLC chromatography on chiral stationary phas
es was studied. For all racemic compounds conditions permitting a good
analytical resolution were elaborated and a separation of the enantio
mers could be successfully achieved.
