Abstract
Principle of construction of a source of short light pulses on LED wit h active quenching of afterglow, allowing to reduce duration of a ligh t pulse from 1.5 to 5 times for some types of LEDs, is described. Long -term stability +/- 0.1% for several weeks is achieved. (C) 1998 Elsev ier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
