Abstract
The analytical representation of the longitudinal hadronic shower deve lopment from the face of a calorimeter is presented and compared with the experimental data. The suggested formula is particularly useful fo r designing testing and calibrating a huge calorimeter complex like in ATLAS at LHC. (C) 1998 Published by Elsevier Science B.V, All rights reserved.
