Hadronization at finite temperature and density is discussed in the fr
amework of the Nambu-Jona-Lasinio (NJL) model. The differential cross-
section for the conversion of a quark-antiquark pair into two pions to
the first order of 1 / N-c expansion is calculated as a function of t
he c.m. energy root s, temperature T and the chemical potential mu. Th
e density effect is emphasized.
