Rw. Gao et al., EFFECTS OF THE DEGREE OF GRAIN ALIGNMENT ON THE HARD MAGNETIC-PROPERTIES OF SINTERED NDFEB MAGNETS, Applied physics A: Materials science & processing, 67(3), 1998, pp. 353-356
The effects of the alignment degree of grain ''easy-axes'' on the hard
magnetic properties of NdFeB sintered magnets have been investigated.
The results show that the remanence polarisation J(r) increases monot
onously with an enhancement in the degree of grain alignment (i.e. dec
rease in the orientation coefficient sigma), whereas the intrinsic coe
rcivity H-j(c) decreases monotonously. This dependence leads to a non-
monotonic behaviour of the magnetic-inductive coercivity H-b(c) and a
saturation of the maximum energy product (BH)(max).
