Abstract
Protonated and deuterated ammonium thiocyanate has been studied by the method of elastic and inelastic neutron scattering. The temperature d ependences of the monoclinic unit-cell parameters are obtained; it is shown that the parameter c increases when the temperature is lowered. The temperature dependences of the monoclinic unit-cell parameters cha nge their slope in the vicinity of 200 K, which, in accordance with th e data on inelastic neutron scattering, can be associated with freezin g of permutational reorientations of ammonium ions below 200 K.
