Abstract
Five isoflavonoid glycosides together with the corresponding aglycones have been isolated from the n-BuOH-soluble fraction of a methanol ext ract of the roots of Eriosema tuberosum. One compound is new and its s tructure has been established by spectroscopic analyses and chemical m ethods as 5-O-methylgenistein -D-apiofuranosyl-(1-->6)-O-beta-D-glucop yranoside.
