Abstract
Experimental measurements performed under conditions which reproduce m ost of the dynamical characteristics of the natural evolution of vorti city filaments in turbulent flows are presented here. Strong deviation s from the Burgers vortex (which is a non-confirmed stretched vortex m odel) are observed and analyzed. (C) Elsevier, Paris.
