U. Denter et al., MODIFICATION OF FIBER SURFACES BY PERMANENT FIXATION OF SUPRAMOLECULAR COMPONENTS, PART 3 - AZA-CROWN ETHERS, Die Angewandte makromolekulare Chemie, 258, 1998, pp. 75-81
The fixation of aza crown ether derivatives onto polymer surfaces by s
uitable functional groups is described. Ligands with hydrophobic subst
ituents may be applied to fibrous polymers using conventional technolo
gies of textile processing. It is illustrated that the fixed cavities
do not lose their complexing power. The modified fibres show resistanc
e against biological attack.
