THE AUTHORS TREATED a patient with a huge, ventrally located spinal me
ningioma, extending from the foramen magnum to the second thoracic ver
tebral body. Vertebral body corpectomies were performed between the bo
ttom of the second cervical vertebral body and the top of the first th
oracic vertebral body, and the tumor was completely resected. Neurolog
ical symptoms and signs improved postoperatively.
