Abstract
We prove the existence of solutions to the static Landau-Lifshitz equa tion corresponding to the homotopy classes of continuous functions fro m Omega --> S-2 boolean AND {u(3) = 0}. Here boolean AND is a non-simp ly connected bounded domain in R-3 The stability of the solutions to t he time-dependent Landau-Lifshitz equation is also obtained.
