Abstract
We present here a discussion for a reaction rate theory for non-Markov
ian systems. We show that the state of the art of the theory is not en
ough to explain the rates obtained for systems with long-range memorie
s. We discuss as well the limits for a system of many interacting part
icles to be reduced to a system of noninteracting ones. (C) 1998 Elsev
