In the present work we discuss the behavior of equally driven chaotic
systems, discussing first the statistics of trajectory separation in t
hese systems. An interesting situation is the coexistence of driving s
ignals that, although they do not yield synchronization separately, do
yield this behavior when combined. These studies are carried out in t
he context of a generalization of a recently introduced driving synchr
onization method [J. Guemez, M.A. Matias, Phys. Rev. E 52 (1995) R2145
] that may be more realistic having in mind some applications. (C) 199
