CYSTIC PULMONARY METASTASES SIMULATING THE DIAGNOSIS OF LANGERHANS CELL HISTIOCYTOSIS

A case of cystic pulmonary metastases from a renal origin simulating l ung histiocytosis on high-resolution CT is presented. This diagnosis w as suggested because of the presence of cystic lung lesions, micronodu les and recurrent pneumothoraces in a male smoker, The diagnosis was r eviewed after lung biopsy and demonstration of a renal mass.
