An apocrine hidrocystoma occurring on the finger of a 55-year-old man
is reported. The lesion presented as a solitary, painless cystic nodul
e on the dorsal aspect of the middle phalanx of the index finger. Apoc
rine hidrocystoma is a benign tumour developed from apocrine sweat gla
nds, but the location of the lesion was, however, not consistent with
reported locations of apocrine glands in the adult.
