H. Spliessgardt et al., INVESTIGATIONS OF THE COMBINED REMOVAL OF DUST AND POLLUTION GAS FOR THE ENERGETIC USE OF BIOMASS, Gefahrstoffe, Reinhaltung der Luft, 58(7-8), 1998, pp. 297-302
Gas cleaning at the thermal use of biomass is expensive because, due t
o the small waste gas amounts, the conventional gas cleaning systems c
onsisting of a dedusting step and following ab- or adsorption processe
s are very costly. Therefore it is the aim of a co-operation project c
arried out by the Institute for Air- and Refrigeration, Dresden, and t
he Institute for Environmental Process Engineering, Essen, to develop
and test a combined removal of dust and pollution gas. A three-stage s
eparator is presented, which consist of a two-stage deduster with a ca
talytic post-combustion-stage.
