Abstract
A patient with a ruptured internal iliac artery aneurysm who presented with acute urinary retention and tenesmus is described. Obliterative aneurysmorrhaphy was performed, and thrombus in the sac was removed an d an in-situ drain was placed in the sac. The patient's urinary sympto ms resolved postoperatively.
