Abstract
Substituted cyclopropylmethanol derivatives were successfully opened w ith excellent regiocontrol by a three-step protocol. The resulting hom oallylic carbanion could be trapped with a variety of electrophiles. ( C) 1998 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
