Abstract
A consequence of Holder's inequality is the well-known inequality betw een means of orders p and q (0 < q < p): (1/a (0)integral(a) f(p) (x) dx)(1/p) / (1/a (0)integral(a) f(q) (x) dx)(1/q) greater than or equal to 1. () We obtain refinements of some known reverse inequalities of () via establishing a reverse inequality for a new class of function s. (C) 1998 Academic Press.
