Abstract
The propagation properties of a plasma dielectric waveguide immersed i n an external magnetic field are presented. The field components' expr essions, eigenvalues and characteristic equations have been obtained. The variations of the propagation properties with plasma parameters, e xternal magnetic field and frequency are discussed in detail on the ba sis of the method of separation of variables combined with the techniq ue of Muller's calculating roots.
