An independent method is proposed to estimate the dispersion velocity
of galactic dark matter particles. This method is based on the observe
d quasar-galaxy association samples that are caused by gravitational l
ensing. All resulting dispersion velocities are much higher than simil
ar to 220 km.s(-1), a value expected from the virial theorem, which sh
ows that the conventional assumption of virialization may be invalid i
n the halo regions of galaxies.
