Abstract
Experimental observation of low-temperature flame during self-ignition of lean methane-air mixtures in internal combustion engines is interp reted in terms of the available reactions of methane oxidation. A kine tic mechanism of methane oxidation is proposed for approximate modelli ng of these processes.
