Abstract
We report an intraneural ganglion of the posterior interosseous nerve causing lateral elbow pain. The cystic lesion was identified by magnet ic resonance imaging, and surgical exploration using the microscope pe rmitted complete extirpation of the cyst without damage to nerve tissu e. The patient experienced complete relief from pain, with full preser vation of function.
