C. Dumontier et al., EARLY RESULTS OF CONVENTIONAL VERSUS 2-PORTAL ENDOSCOPIC CARPAL-TUNNEL RELEASE - A PROSPECTIVE-STUDY, Journal of hand surgery. British volume, 20B(5), 1995, pp. 658-662
The authors compare in a prospective, randomized study the early outco

re similar. No statistically significant differences were found regard
ing pain, disappearing of paraesthesiae or time to return to work. How
ever, better recovery of grip strength was observed in the endoscopic
group an 1 and 3 months. No surgical complications were observed in ei
ther group.
