Abstract
We present MR findings in 3 surgically proved cases of pituitary absce ss. All lesions were seen as a sellar cystic mass with a thin rim of e nhancement. In addition, the pituitary stalk was thickened in 2 cases in which central diabetes insipidus developed. These findings may be s uggestive of pituitary abscess.
