Abstract
We invert the Weyl integral transform by means of a generalized contin uous wavelet transform on the half line associated with the Bessel ope rator L-alpha, alpha > -1/2. Next, we use the connection between radia l classical wavelets on R-n and generalized wavelets associated with t he Bessel operator L(n-2/2) to derive new inversion formulas for the R adon transform on R-n, n greater than or equal to 2.
