Abstract
A case of chronic brucella endocarditis of a prosthetic valve is repor ted, The diagnosis of this infection was established by positive blood cultures and high brucella agglutination titre, The patient was succe ssfully managed by combination of medical therapy (consisting of strep tomycin, trimethoprim-sulphamethoxazole, rifampin and tetracycline) an d surgery.
