Abstract
Seventeen alkaloids were isolated from the air-dried leaves of Alstoni a villosa and their structures characterized. One of the seven new alk aloids was elucidated to be (19Z)-5 alpha-methoxyrhazimine, having a 3 ,4-dihydroquinoline nucleus.
