DEGENERATE SOLUTION EVOLVED FROM NONDEGENERATE INITIAL DATA IN ASHTEKARS FORMALISM

The possibility of evolving a partial degenerate solution from non-deg enerate initial data in Ashtekar formalism is considered in a construc ted example. It is found that this possibility could be realized in th e time evolution given by Ashtekar's equations on a 3-dimensional mani fold with topology R-1 x S-2 .
