Abstract
A novel iron-gold 1,1'-bis(diphenylphosphino)ferrocene (dppf) complex [{AuCI(mu-dppf)}n] contains a co-ordination polymer based on trigonal P2AuCl linkages and has been structurally characterized in both polar and apolar pseudo-polymorphic forms.
