Abstract
We use the complex rotation method to calculate the complex energy of the Is? resonance of a two-electron atom with nuclear charge Z < Z(1), Z(1) = 0.911028 being the threshold value (the minimum nuclear charge Z for which 1s(2) remains a bound state). The calculation is performe d to verify numerically the dispersion relation proposed by us for the ground-state energy of a two-electron atom considered as a function o f Z.
