Abstract
The present communication describes an inexpensive, accurate, reproduc ible, selective and sensitive method for the photometric determination of nickel(ll) with 2-(naphthalidine)pyridine. The effects of pH, reag ent concentration, adsorbent, shaking time and diverse metal ions on a bsorbance studies have been investigated. Conditions have been optimiz ed for the determination of Ni-II in alloys.
