Abstract
In AMS measurements on small (m less than or equal to 400 mu g) carbon samples, an m-dependence has been noted for the C-14/C-12 and C-13/C- 12 ratios that is due to the combined affect of contamination and frac tionation. A simple formalism is presented to describe the phenomena a nd to correct measurements on unknowns for their affect.
