Abstract
A novel fading estimation technique is introduced to substantially red uce the bandwidth redundancy of pilot symbol aided systems in multipat h environments. The results of computer simulation tests are presented to demonstrate the effectiveness of this technique on the BER perform ances of 16QAM.
