Abstract
An artificial neural network method is applied to the development of a n ionospheric forecasting technique for one hour ahead. Comparisons be tween the observed and predicted values of the critical frequency of t he F-2 layer, foF2, and the total electron content (TEC) are presented to show the appropriateness of the proposed technique.
