Abstract
The synthesis, and the X-ray crystal structure, spectroeletrochemical and spectroscopic properties of [OV(IV)(bbpen)] [H-2bbpen = ybenzyl)-N ,N'-bis(2-pyridylmethyl)ethylenediamime] are reported; this complex is the first VO2+ species that exhibits similar UV-VIS and EPR propertie s to those detected in VO2+ transferrins.
