K. Cheung et al., MULTILEPTON SIGNATURES OF GAUGE MEDIATED SUSY BREAKING AT CERN LEP-II- ART. NO. 015008, Physical review. D. Particles and fields, 5801(1), 1998, pp. 5008
In the framework of gauge-mediated supersymmetry breaking models, pair
production of the lightest neutralinos, scalar leptons, or charginos
at CERN LEP II gives rise to interesting signals involving multilepton
final states and missing energy. In the parameter space where the sca
lar tau, <(tau)over tilde>(1), is the next-to-lightest supersymmetric
particle, we identify three interesting regions, which give rise to di
stinctly different final states: (i) 2 tau-leptons plus missing energy
, (ii) 4 charged leptons plus missing energy, where in some regions al
l four are tau-leptons. or (iii) six charged leptons, of which four ar
e tau-leptons and the other two are electrons or muons, plus missing e
nergy. We study in detail the size of these regions in the parameter s
pace of gauge-mediated models and give cross section contours in these
regions for various LEP Il energies. We also discuss the possibility
of chargino-pair production at LEP II. [S0556-2821(98)06813-1].
