Kp. Krishnakumar et Cs. Menon, DETERMINATION OF THE ACTIVATION-ENERGY AND OPTICAL BAND-GAP OF MGPC FROM ITS ELECTRICAL AND OPTICAL STUDIES, Indian Journal of Pure & Applied Physics, 36(6), 1998, pp. 342-345
Electrical and optical characterization of vacuum deposited magnesium
phthalocyanine thin films and their effect on substrate temperature an
d post-deposition annealing have been studied. Thermal activation ener
gy in the intrinsic region is found to increase in the temperature ran
ge 323-473 K. Substrate temperature in the range 323-473 K increases t
he band gap from 2.56 to 2.80 eV while post-deposition annealing has n
ot much effect.
