Abstract
The problem of missing the central attraction in the NN interaction ha s been reinvestigated within the effective meson theory, based on chir al and conformal anomalies of QCD. The parameters of the model are cho sen to describe correctly F-pi,(9 pi NN) and N-Delta mass splitting. T he resulting central scalar-isoscalar part of the potential is in qual itative agreement with phenomenological one.
