Abstract
The vanadium(II) thiolate complex [V(tmeda)(DCTP)(2)] [DCTP = 2,6-dich lorothiophenolate; tmeda = N,N,N',N'-tetramethylethylenediamine] is ob tained by the reaction of 2 equiv, of LiDCTP with [VCl2(tmeda)(2)] and reacts with azobenzene to yield the imido-containing complex [V(tmeda )(DCTP)(2)(=NPh)].
