Abstract
Calculations of the binding energies and annihilation rates of bound a tomic and molecular systems which contain a positron are reviewed. Emp hasis is placed on methods of calculation and the quality of the numer ical results. In this article we limit our attention to positrons inte racting with atoms, diatomic molecules, and their ions. (C) 1998 Elsev ier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
