MULTIPLE MENINGIOMAS AND INTRACRANIAL ANEURYSMS - A CASE-REPORT AND REVIEW OF THE LITERATURE

An extremely rare case with multiple meningiomas and multiple aneurysm s is reported. This 48 year-old female had her meningiomas at the conv exity and along the sphenoid wing, and intracranial aneurysms at the b asilar tip, left middle cerebral artery bifurcation, and left pericall osal artery. All of them were shown by preoperative radiological evalu ation. During the operation, two more meningiomas, again at the spheno id wing and at the tentorium, were found. There was no evidence of eit her a connective tissue disease or neurofibromatosis.
